S.T.A.R.S.,Inc. is an Intensive Family Intervention Service designed to provide crisis prevention and intervention services to at-risk youth between the ages 6-17 and their families who have been exposed to an environment where drugs, violence, sex, money and peer pressure are a constant influence that affects both their behavior and perception of life.  These youth commonly have met the criteria of having one or more Axis I mental health diagnoses; multiple out of home placements due to deprivation, abuse, neglect, chronic crime related behaviors or parent-child discord; frequent school suspensions or expulsions; severe anger and conflict management deficits; sexual offending behaviors; substance abuse and are Georgia Medicaid eligible.

Smith Transitional And Rehabilitation Services, Inc. strives to provide youth between the ages of 6-17 years of age with the highest quality of therapeutic and supportive services to promote healthy social skills and to increase self-esteem, personal, physical, emotional and spiritual development.  Services are provided to the entire family promote wellness and healing.  Our goal is to provide education, resource linkage, professional counseling services  and support to empower families and strengthen our communities.
